What do I wear to class?

Many line dancers wear boots, however this is certainly not a necessity. Any sensible footwear will be fine (thongs, crocs, sandals and high heels are not great for line dance).
Slippery sole shoes always work best for line dance. Sneakers can be comfortable but may grip to the floor too much. Smooth sole shoes are best.

Casual clothes are recommended for the class. Dancing is a workout and you may work up a sweat, so we advise clothing that isn’t too hot as you are bound to get your steps up!

What ages can join?

Our class is ideal of all ages. The beauty of line dance is that it is age inclusive. From ages 6 to 60 and over, our classes include members of all ages. Part of the beauty of our classes is that friendships formed cross generations and age is just a number!

Am I good enough to join?

Our social line dance class is designed so that very beginners can come for the first time and join right in. While it may take a few weeks to remember the steps as confidentially as those who attend regularly, all dances are taught from scratch and no member is left behind!

More advanced dancers should speak with our team about our intermediate to advanced class option.
